Vue Orleans now on Archello

Archello is a business networking platform for the built environment that was founded in 2009. It’s essentially a ‘HUB’ between the creative and making industry that features an open architectural and design product selection tool. On Archello, everyone can tell their story as it is a free and open platform. Its users can expand their network and present themselves to the building industry by connecting with each other, to projects, products, or materials.

Vue Orleans, an exhibit and observatory located on the rooftop of the Four Seasons New Orleans, is now on Archello! Vue Orleans just opened this summer, and Moses Engineers provided all of the Four Seasons Hotel with their MEP designs. The mechanical and engineering features for the project included HVAC with bi-polar ionization, heat refrigerant recovery, and MERV 13 Filters. We also provided designs for the hotel’s hot and cold domestic water systems, domestic water distribution, and sanitary waste. The electrical engineering features provided by Moses Engineers include power throughout the residences, lighting design, fire alarm, and also lighting control system integration.

Moses Engineers provided mechanical and electrical engineering designs for the project which opened in 2021. The Four Seasons Hotel is located in the revitalized World Trade Center, right next to the Morial Convention Center. We were honored to be chosen to work on this project with all other firms involved, including the development team of Carpenter & Co. and Woodward.

Four Seasons Interiors Receive International Acclaim – Biz New Orleans

Four Seasons awarded ENR’s Best Project in Renovation/Restoration

ENR Texas & Louisiana has announced the winners of their 2022 Best Projects competition. This year the Four Seasons New Orleans has been recognized as the Best Project in Renovation/Restoration. Engineering News-Record (ENR) provides engineering and construction news, analysis, commentary, and data to the construction industry professionals. They report on the top design firms, construction companies, and projects both in the US and internationally. Moses Engineers is honored to have this project recognized and would like to extend our congratulations to everyone involved!

Moses Engineers was selected to provide the MEP designs and fire protection for this project. The development team included Carpenter & Co. and Woodward Design+Build, and construction for this renovation was completed in 2021. The former World Trade Center was revitalized into the 500,000 square foot five-star hotel and private residences which overlooks the Mississippi River and French Quarter. The Four Seasons New Orleans features 341 rooms, ballrooms, meeting rooms, retail shops, 92 condominiums, Vue Orleans, 2 restaurants, 5 bars, a pool, parking garage, and so much more!

Four Seasons Celebrates First Year

This month marks the first anniversary of the Four Seasons Hotel New Orleans opening at the foot of Canal Street, and they have had an incredible first year! Moses Engineers was honored to provide the MEP designs for this project, including the fire protection and lighting design. To celebrate their anniversary the hotel’s PR team compiled a list of numbers to celebrate their success:

$550 million to transform New Orleans’ historic World Trade Center, which in turn spurred development along the riverfront
80,000 single-use amenities saved from landfills as part of the hotel’s commitment to eliminating single-use plastics
72,145 guest check ins & 477 employees strong
