Brennan’s Restaurant once again fully owned by a Brennan family member
Brennan’s Restaurant is now once again fully owned by a Brennan family member. When the restaurant first opened in 1946 it was under Brennan family patriarch Owen Brennan. They have always been known for their fabulous, lavish brunches and also for inventing bananas Foster. However, after Hurricane Katrina the restaurant fell onto hard times. In 2013 Ralph Brennan and Terry White formed a partnership with the goal of bringing back this historic dining destination. In 2014 the Royal Street location inside of a historic French Quarter building was completely renovated, and Moses Engineers provided full mechanical, electrical, and plumbing services including fire protection design for the project.
Now, nine years later, Terry White has left the partnership and Ralph Brennan bought his share of the business. So once again, the Brennan’s Restaurant is fully owned by a Brennan family member.
