This state-of-the-art $56 million theatre provides 1,050 seats for Broadway-type productions as well as local community productions for Jefferson Parish’s Performing Arts Society.  The 95,000 sq. ft. facility includes kitchen facilities, large meeting areas and backstage dressing rooms.  It opened in 2013.

Moses Engineers provided all mechanical, electrical, plumbing MEP and fire protection systems including wiring to the massive stage light dimming system. Wizsnia Architects supervised all engineering design work with construction administration services provided to NY Associates through project completion.

An innovative under-floor air conditioning distribution system provides low pressure, higher temperature supply air to each patron’s seat ensuring theatre goers comfort for both the main seating areas as well as the balconies.

The fly loft incorporates scenery shops for storing massive sets with easy access to the stage area.  Extensive CCTV systems allow performance monitoring throughout the backstage dressing rooms, offices and production areas.  Integrated intercom communications serve not only the control booths and backstage areas but also the dressing rooms and offices for coordinating productions.
