Meet Frank Schambach, the backbone of our Moses Engineers team! For 12 remarkable years, Frank has been our Construction Administrator, leading with unparalleled expertise and dedication.

With over 50 years in the construction realm, including a remarkable 21-year stint as the Director of Facilities at University of New Orleans.  Frank’s wealth of experience is exceptional. He ensures our projects run seamlessly, while coordinating our design with the construction team.

But Frank’s impact extends beyond the office. His heart for community shines through his volunteer work at Deutsches Haus, ASHRAE, St. Catherine of Siena School’s Men’s Club, Tucks Krewe, and the Tulane Alumni Association.

When he’s not steering projects or making a difference in the community, Frank indulges in his passion for exploration alongside his wife, Nici. They travel, savor festivals, dive into outdoor adventures (especially boating), and embrace the joys of discovering new wines.

A proud Tulane graduate and an unwavering Saints fan, Frank embodies dedication, experience, and a contagious zest for life. Join us in celebrating Frank’s exceptional contributions to our team and community!

Meet Deirdre Burley, an Electrical Engineer who has been a dedicated member of the Moses Engineers team for the past two years. With an impressive 38 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer, Deirdre brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our organization.

Deirdre’s passion for Electrical Engineering started at a young age, thanks to her father, who owned his own Electrical Engineering firm in New Orleans. She began her journey in the field at just 16, learning the intricacies of the trade from her father. Deirdre is an alumna of the University of New Orleans and a proud member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE).

In addition to her professional achievements, Deirdre is a well-rounded individual who values her personal life. During her free time, she enjoys exploring new destinations through her travels, cherishing moments with her family, experimenting with diverse cuisines, and indulging in live music experiences.

Born and raised in the vibrant city of New Orleans, Deirdre currently resides with her partner, Charles, and their three beloved cats. Her dedication to her work, coupled with her diverse interests and experiences, makes her a valuable asset to our team at Moses Engineers. We’re proud to have Deirdre as a part of our family, contributing her expertise and passion to our projects.

We are thrilled to shine the spotlight on one of our exceptional team members, Darcell Lewis, who holds the remarkable title of being the longest-standing employee at Moses Engineers, with an impressive 42 years of dedication and expertise in Revit and CAD Operations.

Education and Professional Journey: Darcell is an alumna of both Delgado and UNO, where she honed her skills and knowledge. She furthered her education by graduating from the prestigious CETA program, establishing herself as an expert in her field.

Passions and Hobbies: Outside of her professional life, Darcell is a multifaceted individual with a heart full of love. Her interests include delving into the realms of literature, gardening, and cooking up a storm as an avid chef. She finds joy in sharing the gospel and engaging in Bible study and fellowship, reflecting her deep spiritual connection.

Family, Ministry, and Volunteering: Darcell’s love extends beyond her work and hobbies. She treasures moments spent with her family and her beloved fur companion, Prince Jingles. Additionally, she participates in her church’s street and drug ministry programs, showcasing her dedication to helping those in need.

What Darcell appreciates most about Moses Engineers is the sense of family that permeates the workplace. She values the opportunity to share her ministry with her colleagues, fostering a supportive and nurturing atmosphere within the company.

🌟 Employee Spotlight: Meet Aspen Bartholomew! 🌟

We’re thrilled to introduce Aspen Bartholomew, our dynamic and charismatic Electrical Engineer, as the star of this week’s Employee Spotlight! With a degree from the prestigious University of New Orleans in 2016, Aspen brings a wealth of knowledge and over 6 years of invaluable experience to the Moses Engineer’s team.

Aspen’s impact on our projects has been nothing short of extraordinary. He has played a pivotal role in the successful completion of major projects, including the Four Seasons Hotel and Residences New Orleans, New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center Interior Renovations, and the Historic New Orleans Collection.

But Aspen isn’t just a powerhouse in the office; he’s also a dedicated member of the community. He actively participates in organizations such as the National Society of Black Engineers and the International Association of Electrical Inspectors, demonstrating his commitment to professional growth and development.

Beyond his professional achievements, Aspen is a gamer at heart. Whether it’s video games or board games, he dives into every challenge with enthusiasm and skill. He’s not just passionate about games; he’s equally passionate about giving back. Aspen generously volunteers with the UNO Alumni Association, contributing his time and energy to create positive change.

In his downtime, Aspen enjoys exploring the culinary scene with his lovely wife, April. Together, they savor the flavors of new restaurants and create cherished memories. Game nights at the Bartholomew household are legendary, where friends and family gather for laughter and friendly competition. Adding to their joy is their fur baby, Pugsly, who joins them on adventures exploring the rich cultural tapestry of our local area.

🌟 Employee Spotlight! 🌟

Meet our exceptional Lead Electrical Engineer, Blake Hosli!  With an impressive 13 years of experience in the field, Blake has been a valuable member of the Moses Engineers family for 8 years. His dedication and expertise have significantly contributed to our success.

When he’s not weaving his design magic at work, Blake cherishes moments with his wonderful family – a loving wife and three energetic boys, all under the age of 9! Family time is precious for him.

In his free time, Blake and his wife enjoy the art of Swing Dancing, adding rhythm and joy to their lives. Additionally, he actively participates in historical reenactments, notably the Battle of New Orleans at the Chalmette Battlefield, where he brings history to life! He also enjoys participating in the Madisonville’s Wooden Boat Fest boat building competition with a group of old friends.

Beyond his family and hobbies, Blake is dedicating considerable time to building a new home for his loved ones in Jefferson Parish. His passion for both his work and personal life is truly inspiring!

Moreover, Blake is not just an expert in his field but also a leader in professional communities. He proudly serves as the President of the Southeast Louisiana Chapter of the International Association of Electrical Inspectors, showcasing his commitment to continuous learning and industry growth.
